The Wild One – Uriel 23 Gallery

Uriel 23 Gallery

Illustration of a galloping horse created for the exhibition 'The Working Sons' at Uriel 23 Gallery, symbolizing themes of masculinity, control, and emotional freedom

Created for the group exhibition “The Working Sons” at Uriel 23 Gallery, this large-scale illustration features a horse mid-gallop, breaking free from invisible reins. Painted in acrylic on a 1.6 x 2.2 meter wooden board, the work draws on themes of control, masculinity, and rebellion—echoing the show’s exploration of societal expectations placed on men. The horse, both powerful and tender, becomes a metaphor for the tension between vulnerability and strength.

My goal is to reach every heart and every home.
Through illustration, words, and images, I try to touch, to move, and to remind us that we’re not alone.
Each drawing is born from a personal moment—but it belongs to you too: the viewers, the readers, those who see themselves within it.
