On Two Fronts began as a way to document an impossible period — my husband serving in the reserves while I stayed behind, trying to continue everyday life at home. Through illustration, I documented the small moments, fears, absurdities and routines of living between two realities. What started as personal documentation eventually became a 232-page illustrated book.
