Rotem Codish is an Israeli illustrator and visual storyteller whose work explores the intersection of personal experience, relationships, and societal themes. She captures intimate moments and complex emotions with depth and sensitivity.
Her work spans across graphic journals, editorial illustration, and installations, often reflecting on themes of memory, trauma, resilience, and everyday life. Rotem’s storytelling is deeply personal yet universally resonant, offering a visual language that speaks to both individual and collective experiences.
Her most recent project, "On Two Fronts," is a graphic journal documenting her relationship with her husband, Peleg, following his return from three months of military service. Through 100 daily illustrations, the book provides a raw and honest glimpse into love, distance, and the silent impact of war on personal connections.
Beyond her personal projects, Rotem collaborates with publishers, cultural institutions, and academic organizations, using illustration as a tool for dialogue and reflection. She regularly gives lectures and workshops on art, storytelling, and the power of visual communication.
